What is Invisalign?

Why should I get Invisalign®️?
Invisalign has many benefits aside from being comfortable and invisible. You can eat and drink all you want throughout your treatment as they are removable. There is no metal to cause any mouth abrasions during your treatment which also means you don’t need to visit your orthodontist as often when it comes to getting adjustments. With Invisalign, you get to view your own virtual treatment plan and be able to see how your teeth will look upon the completion of your treatment.
How does Invisalign work?
With clear aligners, you wear each set of aligners for two weeks. You must remove them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. With each aligner being replaced with another in the next series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened and reached the final position prescribed by your orthodontist. We expect to have you visit our practice once every six weeks to ensure progress throughout your planned treatment. Treatment time is expected to last between nine and 15 months, and the number of aligners worn is between 18 and 30, but each case will vary.

The scanner takes an incredibly detailed impression of your teeth and gums. Once the scan is complete, your orthodontist will then have a 3D model of your mouth that can be used with all Invisalign® services, including the Invisalign Outcome Simulator to show you what your new smile might look like.
